This lecture series, a complement to the new course FRE 334: Race in France funded by the 250th Anniversary Fund for Innovation in Undergraduate Education, explores questions of race in contemporary France and throughout the country’s history. Speakers include Debarati Sanyal (Berkeley), Annette K. Joseph-Gabriel (University of Michigan), Jennifer Yee (University of Oxford), and Rokhaya Diallo (journalist, writer, filmmaker).
