*Early application is strongly encouraged and begins on November 1st, 2023.

Selection interviews will be from December 8th to 15th of 2023. The selection of participants will be announced in December, shortly after the interviews. Those selected must accept or decline the offer by January 15th of, 2024.

To apply:

  1. In addition to the questionnaire in GPS, please have your resume and required essay ready to upload into GPS.
  2. For students enrolled in our French classes: a recommendation procedure is built directly into GPS. Students will need to enter the faculty member’s full name or net id and then select said faculty member for their current French instructor. The system will send a prompt for the faculty member to complete the recommendation. Students who did not take a class at Princeton should ask their High School teacher to write a letter to assess their level and/or have their Director of Studies write a letter containing a short statement to say whether or not they support the student’s application and say why they do or do not recommend the student. The High School teacher and Director of Studies should email their letters directly to Kathy Varra ([email protected]).
  3. Please complete all items until you have a green check mark next to every item and your Progress Circle is closed.
  4. Once you have completed all requirements, the application submit button will appear.
  5. Once you have completed your application and submitted it on GPS, you will receive a message after December 4th, 2023, to schedule an appointment on Calendly for the interviews. If you have any questions about the interviews, please contact Dr. Murielle Perrier ([email protected]).

Please contact Kathy Varra ([email protected] or 609-258-4502) if you have any difficulties or questions regarding your application.

Students selected to participate in the program must attend a pre-departure meeting in late March 2024, where they will be provided with information to prepare them for the program. The program will comply with all regulations and travel guidelines provided by the University.
