Profile

Sophia Millman is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Department of French & Italian. During the 2023-2024 academic year, she is excited to continue teaching French, to work as a fellow at the Writing Center, and to be part of the instructional team for “Introduction to Gender & Sexuality Studies.”

In 2023, her articles will appear in La Revue des Lettres modernes and Women in French Studies. Sophia enjoys working on collaborative projects and would be especially excited to meet other researchers interested in cultural gerontology, 20th-century French and Italian feminist theory, and film studies. She welcomes questions from prospective students.
